HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAMA!

Yesterday, January 11, was my mom's birthday and I decided that I would make her cake for her since that's what I do for the people in my family. Well, initially I was going to make her a small round, layer cake but I figured since she's my mom, I would go all out and surprise her with something she wouldn't expect. And just as I expected, she was pleasantly surprised. It took me all day to do her cake but it was because I wanted it to be special! She's my mom and I love her dearly. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMMY...I LOVE YOU!!!!

Being pregnant is one of the best feeling in the world for a woman. Having the ability to create and produce life is definitely an experience like no other. One of the many things I enjoy about being pregnant is fulfilling my many cravings and not feeling too bad about it! I had one of my greatest cravings today and I just couldn't fight it. I made myself a big pan of Homemade Banana pudding. And I'm not talking about the kind where you use the instant pudding and it's ready in 5 minutes. Yes, I'm talking about the good ole fashioned kind where you have to take the time to prepare the custard on the stove and make sure it comes out to the right consistency. I love that kind. I haven't tore into it yet, but I'm sure getting ready to because my mouth is watering right now just talking about it. I just wanted to take a minute to share this wonderful creation with ya'll and say that I will definitely be adding this to my menu....Until my next craving...Toodles!

IT'S THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN....THANKSGIVING!

Hello everyone...yes,it is that time of year again....Thanksgiving...the time of year when we spend a day and sometimes a week eating turkey, dressing, sweet potato casserole, and whatever else we or someone else cooks up. I especially love the desserts. You know what I love about this day???...I get to cook as much as I want and I enjoy it. I not only enjoy cooking for my family but I also enjoy cooking for those who don't feel like cooking, or who just don't have that culinary talent in the kitchen. I have decided that this year, I am going to put my God given talent to use and cater to the needs of others this holiday season. I have below, my thanksgiving menu for those of you who would rather have someone else cook for you and if you love a good down home, soul touching, taste satisfying meal, you'll really enjoy my food. I have included prices for individual items as well as a whole thanksgiving meal that will feed up to 12 people. Finally!!!!

I finally have the chance to put a pic of my seafood fettucini on here! So many of my friends have asked me why I don't have one on here. Well...here it is, along with a pic of my beautiful italian salad! ENJOY!!!!!

Well I hadn't been on here since last week but here's what's been going on.....Last Thursday, I delivered the dinners to my mom's job and they were a big hit. My mom's co-workers said I need to do this at least once a week. I even had one of my old school mates order a plate from me on facebook and she loved it...Thanks Latoshia! Well that's what I've been shooting for but I just hadn't took a chance until then. I posted pics of my lunch plates to my facebook page and the next thing I knew, I had quite a few people requesting my menu. I sent them the menus and I have yet to receive any orders but I'm sure I'll get some in time...just have to stay faithful. By the way, what happened to the orders from your job, Brandee.
